The Place

The waters roar
Washing, longing
To show me life

I ask the oceans
For balance
They say watch

Observe the stillness
Learn the lesson
Remember

I come to the place
Where I bear my soul
And listen

Tomorrow will be the same
And different
Be still

Hold the moment
It will change
Fast enough

The Numbers Game

My Dad died of hypertension.  Granted he was obese, never exercised, eat poorly.  He was just 67.

After my divorce, well, about five years after, my blood pressure started scooting up.  Finally, last year, I did something about it.  I went on a low dosage blood pressure medication.  The numbers dropped to normal.

I am quite aware of the dangers now.  But in the past year, at least the last six months, I don't feel well.  I feel nervous, anxious a lot of the time.  It is worse when I see a physician.

Yesterday, my numbers were dangerous high.  My new health care provider sat me down and said I had to start monitoring it.  She wanted the numbers.  She wanted to see me in two weeks.

If you read this blog, you know I am a free spirit. But this time, I am taking it seriously.  So, after my visit, I left quite down.  A trip on the way home via a local pool, I did my laps.  Then I took my blood pressure at a local pharmacy. It was 40 points lower within a few minutes.

I bought a digital blood pressure cuff - biceps kind.  My health care provider wanted that.  Apparently the radial ones are not so accurate.

Last night I did the same thing - took several readings.  It went down.  A phone call from Garmin International...finally, I got my GPS working again.  I took my blood pressure and it went up 8 points.  This  morning while still in bed I took it again and it was in a most healthy range.  I still felt anxious and tense.  As I type this, I let out a huge sigh.  I haven't a clue what is going on.  But I am going to do something about it.

By the way, thanks Garmin guy, I did delete my comment on the blog.  Until you do it again:)

Thanks, health care provider.  I really like you.  I shall comply.  The diet is good, weight is fine.I am nixing the coffee, little as it is that I consume.  I am very sad about that.  I don't get it.  It is a numbers game.

I'm Over Here

I have come to a place
That heals and restores me
Inside and out
It has much to teach

The waves pull and push me
Can I will stand, will I fall
They call me

Let me cleanse you
And make you anew
Trust

Here...on the seacoast
I listen, the ocean has spoken
Not always so soft

It is time
Where do you want to go?
Listen, it's all here for you

The ocean washes
Nourishes
Releases

It's salt water refreshes
Encourages
I'm lighter now

I'm over here

Above Black

Former Air Force officer
communicated with grey aliens

By Mary Joyce, website editor
Above Black
Former U.S. Air Force Sergeant Dan Sherman blew the whistle on the government’s involvement with grey aliens in his book “Above Black.”
Though his regular Air Force duties were as an Electronic Intelligence Specialist, he also secretly worked for the National Security Agency (NSA) as an “Intuitive Communicator” with the greys.
At first he was excited to have been selected by the NSA, but eventually realized he was living the life of a prisoner.  He was watched and monitored all the time and couldn’t live a normal life.  His life of isolation was one of several reasons he eventually asked to be discharged from the military.  His request was denied.  He was told his work with the aliens would continue even if he left the military.  Without giving details, he made it clear he had to take extraordinary steps to get his military discharge.
When Sherman was recruited for a secret deep black project called “Project Preserve Destiny,” he asked why he was selected.  Here is the response from the captain/director of operations:
To put it bluntly, Sergeant Sherman, in the summer of 1960 your mother was visited by what the world commonly refers to as aliens. . . In a nutshell, you’ve been given an interesting ability through what we call genetic management.
In explaining Project Preserve Destiny, the captain said:
It was started in 1960 and was fully operational by 1963.  It was a genetic management project with the sole purpose of cultivating human offspring so that they would have the ability to communicate with the greys.  Your mother was initially abducted in 1960 for tests, then again in 1963 for the actual genetic procedure while you were in the womb. . .
Rest assured, you are 100 percent human.  Your conception was as normal as any other person’s.... All that I’ve been told is that your abilities will be needed in the future when all electromagnetic communications will be rendered useless.

The captain’s statements certainly show the government has worked in tandem with the greys for decades and directly or indirectly has been involved with alien abductions.  Sherman also reveals the government’s extensive efforts to cover up its alien involvement.
Alien “SPOCK” and “BONES” Alien
During his stint with the NSA’s secret project, Sherman communicated with two emotionless aliens he dubbed “Spock” and “Bones.”
Sherman said they were totally in control of “conversations” and seldom answered his questions.  If they did, the answers were usually curt.  To make the “conversations” even more impersonal, they called him by the number 118.

Sherman was disappointed with how little information Spock and Bones revealed, but he did glean a few bits and pieces.
● “I learned that time, as we know it, does not have the same meaning for them.  They still age as we do, but they are not as bound by the physics of time as we currently are.”
● “When I asked if there was a God, he answered that it was not his place to answer that question.  But he said something like ‘the question you ask answers itself.’  It was all kind of obscure to place any concrete meaning to (it).  Based on what he was saying at the time, though, I do remember coming to the conclusion that there must be a ‘God’ that we all shared.”
● “He said they had visited cultures from time to time throughout our history.  None of the direct contacts they’ve initiated turned out well.  This is one of the reasons they are not ‘common’ visitors today.  However, he said that it was much easier to visit our people in the past than it is today.  They revealed themselves on many occasions in the past and even contributed to certain societies and their technologies. They learned much from the engaging of other people.  But since our technology has leap-frogged, the risk of revealing themselves on a worldwide scale, at this time, is not a worthwhile endeavor.”
● “According to Bones, there is a vast number of other ‘intelligences’ in the Universe.  I got the feeling when I asked this that he felt it was a dumb question.”
● “I had asked at one time if they had two sexes like we do.  The answer was yes.  It seems they procreate as well, but not in the same manner.  I didn’t go any further in my questioning, and he didn’t volunteer any more information.”
● “What little I got from the conversation was that they somehow use time and electromagnetic energy as a source of propulsion.”
● “Bones made me understand that their life spans are similar to ours, perhaps even shorter.”
● “He told me that our sun was very unique and that someday we would understand how it really worked and how we could utilize the same methods they use but on a smaller scale.  He said our scientists have just begun to understand how the sun can be used as a source of energy for our future needs.”
Though this information from Spock and Bones is interesting, Sherman grew tired of being treated like a laboratory rat that was being studied and trained. That became the second reason he asked to be discharged from the military.  The third reason hit closer to home when he was required to study or somehow evaluate alien abductions.

“I finally came to the conclusion, after reporting over 20 apparent abduction scenarios, that I wanted no part of the program any longer,” he explained.  “Although I had no reason to believe anyone was being maliciously harmed, I did get a feeling that the abductions I was reporting were part of some sort of higher calling and the feelings of the people involved took a back seat to that calling.  I couldn’t help but think about my mother and what she possibly went through during the genetic management of Project Preserve Destiny.”

More Beautiful Than

Ever once in a while a piece of music comes along that moves me beyond words. This is how I experience Rose Hill Suite by the inimitable Steve Dorff.  He was in my graduating class.  So very talented, so very focused, even in the late 60s.

Please enjoy it ~

Steve has written so many beautiful pieces.  Check out his site.  I will be painting watercolors to this music.  Soon.

And thank you, Steve.  For all the beauty.

Seacoast colors

In early spring, I drove to Dillard, Georgia, not too far from the mountain home.  My search included finding a relatively cheap end table.  I was quite open to what I might find.

Originally, it was a dull beige.  I repainted it a cream color to go with my guest room.  It worked wonderfully in the other house. The room had soft, mint green walls.  It was lost in a white walled apartment.  So...

I added some paint.  Voila!
