I have been keeping an eye on this since the Fukushima nuclear reactor incident in Japan in 2011. The actions of the U.S. government, academia and mainstream media since that event are pointing to the distinct possibility that they are preparing for some type of nuclear or radiation event in the near future.

• Shortly after Fukushima happened, sensitive radiation detecting equipment on the West coast of North America started registering elevated levels of radiation, often orders of magnitude higher than the levels deemed safe for human beings. But instead of preparing ways for the public to protect themselves, Governments in both Canada and the U.S. simply turned off the equipment or adjusted the acceptable levels to be higher so the alarm bells wouldn’t continue to go off.
• In the mainstream news, the focus was on Fukushima, but they began to develop the narrative that radiation wasn’t such a bad thing, even going so far as to say it was good for you.
