Life is more acute ~ when you are single. Time with self affords the opportunity to fully experience whatever you are experiencing. No judgment from another during any of it. After all, the best relationship we will ever have is the relationship with ourselves.

For starters, you don't take on anyone else's issues. You allow them to be fully who they are as you are fully yourself. This in no way means it isn't healthy to couple up. It is lovely to have the experience of sharing your life with someone interested in you. But first it is important to form a healthy relationship with yourself.
I don't think there is anything so beautiful, so meaningful as to love someone. Perhaps it is a mindful living things greatest gift. The gift of love.
