Just who am I, you ask? The youngest of two children who loves to create. Anything.
I've kept a journal since I was a pre-teen. Wrote most every day in it, too. Pastels were my favorite medium and then sequed to watercolors. Color is so important. The more vibrant, the better. Except in a sleeping area where I prefer whites and creams. Soft. Great for sleeping.
Even as a child, I was always taking in strays. Animals mostly. Rehabilitating and releasing them. Maybe that is why I was drawn to the woods at an early age. Living among nature is the best. I remember living in my mountain home when a red wolf crossed the land. It must have known I was watching from inside the sun room because it turned around to show me its splendor.
I love the ocean, too. I'm drawn to the early sunrise and sundown and all the soft colors intertwined. Working to capture the peachy pinks is an art form and sometimes it is revealed on paper. I'm more than grateful for whatever talent comes through my conduit-ness.
Now you see why I live in two places ~ Appalachia and New England. I'll tell you more on another post.
