More and more I like my own good company. I do love my friends and family. I keep a small circle by design. It takes a lot of energy to mother the world and it is time to mother myself.
Some observations of the week.
Woman on speakphone in restaurant. I share a few words with her on my departure. She apologizes.
Honeymooners on Facebook 24-7. I can't help but wonder why they need our approval. I wish they would seek it from themselves and each other. In time.
Friend opens her own clothing line. Her mom would have been so very proud of her. I sure am.
Another sunny day in paradise. Love every minute of it!
Hibiciscus just may be the new flower in the stacked stone entry garden. Peach is just the happiest of colors.
Minor surgery, some pain. Healing soon. Now.
It is all good enough. No reason to look elsewhere.
Grass sprouts through the voluminous straw everywhere on the lawn. Did they really need to cover it so much? Bulbs sprout through, too. I think it is funny.
Love the hyacinths tossed over the bank with the soil from a former lawn garden. A vision of purple. My eyes found it.
Red tulips are just about sprout in the newly done front garden. When I identify all the colors, I can rearrange them for a more interesting look.
More and more. Less and less. A little spot of heaven. Even in an ongoing bark-a-rama.
