Happy Birthday, America!

On this Fourth of July, what it truly means to be a patriot comes to mind.  Thinking of all the folks who stood up to ensure liberty.  It is a beautiful word.  This concept of liberty is about freedom to choose.  It is one of the reasons we left the rigid controls of England.  Over time, as so often is the case, the designers of this new way of being is usurped for even more controls.

Just as there is beauty in these flowers, there is beauty in liberty.  The flag is waved for true Patriots ~ Daniel Ellsberg, Edward Snowden and countless others who were willing to risk everything for liberty.
