Life In The Wilderness
Life in the wilderness is intriguing. What is especially appealing is the quiet, simple lifestyle. It is a wonderful environment to bring our the creative. Nature provides so much entertainment, learning, observing. It all follows one's own learning curve, too. The only clock is your inner one.
Living in the woods requires some inner resolve.
The ability to be with yourself rather than escape to the town or city when the going gets tough. There is no one else to count on. There is you and you learn the joys and hardships of being with self. Privacy. Totally.
There is a value in learning not to escape oneself. Labels fall away. There is no timetable other than the seasonal one. You quickly learn to prepare for the changing seasons, lots of time alone. Thoughts slow down. You learn what really matters. The endless brain chatter slows. You learn how to decide upon what you want to think about. You use your thoughts well. There is little distraction. Discernment in all things important is key.
Tomorrow I look at cabins with land.
