In many ways, these are hard times.  People seem to be really annoyed with others lately.  I find that is the case as well.  Road rage, internal strife, uncertainly.  Fear.  Where to be.

The last few days, my imported New England friends have talked about what it is like to move to New England.  Nearly everyone says the same thing.  

"Well, they are just not friendly."

Part of that is because we were settled in our last communities.  We had our network of friends.  Now we have to start over.  Warm climate people are just friendlier. They aren't in a hurry to get out of the cold. Being in a warm climate doesn't make them better friends.  It does make them more friendly. 

Florida is a state of imports.  Some areas are very New Yawk City, brusque, some not. But you have to look beyond that.  We make our community by being fully who we are.  And by allowing geographical, climactic differences.  It is the person within that counts.

I learned long ago, home is wherever you are. Wherever you are.
