There is a virus spreading faster than than wildfire. It's the fame game. Often these people don't have enough of their own experiencers so they ride the coat tails of those who do, those who did.
That is particularly an issue in the UFO community. Some are really good researchers. They follow the facts and tell everyone else's story. I know a few personally like that. They are clandestine, it's all about them, self-promotion ad infinitum! That theme runs through most of them.
They want you to know they have information you don't have. There is a sneakiness to them. But they are telling biographies and making lots of money off it. Books ultimately come, speaking engagements, conferences. It isn't so much about sharing knowledge as it is about self-promotion. One only has to listen to them speak, or read their work. It is a real turn off for this writer.
Maybe I feel this way in part, it is because I AM AN EXPERIENCER. I had a UFO encounter. I don't care or want my name out there. I am merely a conduit. My experience must be shared. You have a right to know about it. When you have seen something to which your government has lied about forever, you want folks to know the truth. You are the truth.
We are not alone.
