These are not unique times. One must simply read history, live history to know this. History is the story of people usurping others. The rich continue to steal from those that aren't. It isn't new. It isn't new that people think the only problem is the thieves. Sure, it would be all nice and tidy to say that, but it just isn't so.
Equal to this situation are the masses who allow it. They gripe, complain, put posters on Facebook, write Letters to the Editor, speak up in chat rooms, send anonymous notes but the story is always the same.
Evil prospers when good people do nothing. To believe otherwise is pure fantasy. To live through rose colored glasses.
If you want change, you have to be the change. Simple as that.
