It's Not The Same: It Is The Same

It's not the same experience being a Mother living in an apartment as it is in a single family home.  While I know it is a mindset, a socialized way I have become, it feels as though I am in a holding tank of sorts.  Waiting for my NC house to sell, thinking about the next step. Where would I like to buy?  What town?  A cabin.  A carriage house.  Something maintenance free.  Maybe something I build.  Lots of maybes.

But I am not there yet.  Not lots of places.  Here I am.  Where I am.  Isn't that always the case?  We spend our lives wanting things to be different than they are.  All the while, we are missing those precious breaths, those precious moments.  The magnificent scenery of life.

Sometimes were are bored.  Bored mostly of ourselves because we are not ready to move forward.  We get bored because we want others to do our homework. We want them to keep us busy so we don't have to learn the inner peace.

It is harder for the extraverts.  They get their energy from others.  Little did we know the introverts have it all.  They come from within.  A good place to start.  Whether you are an introvert or extrovert moving forward begins when we have had enough of boredom, enough of self-pity, enough of waiting for our lives to begin.  Enough of our own inner frustration.

The reality has always been we are more than enough. Who says you have to be friendly or outgoing?  You are who you are and that is more than good enough.  Be kind, considerate, gentle, loving.  It takes all of us to be a community.

You are the one you've been waiting for.

P.S.  Because it has been so often requested, I am including the TED x Charleston video with Simran Singh in Conversations With The Universe.

Enjoy.
